Technical Management & DevOps

Experience

Systems Support Analyst for DevOps

Wondros | Wondros.com, All of Us (NIH program) & other client projects

As Systems Support Analyst for DevOps, it is my responsibility to help ensure that the amazing digital products delivered by Wondros are built on a secure and reliable infrastructure that follows DevOps best practices and meet industry standards for security.

From cloud stacks to on-prem solutions, my focus has been to understand the ins and outs of the company’s technical infrastructure in order to help lead efforts to identify potential gaps with the company's systems and apply technical solutions that incorporate modern technologies, improved internal processes, scalability, supportability, security and overall performance that ensure the successful software development life cycles of digital products while also meeting strict cybersecurity standards such as those provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Project Management

Internet Brands | Health Client & Consumer Brands

Associated brands:

As a Project Manager (PM) at Internet Brands I not only fulfilled the role of a SCRUM master for an international team of agile developers and QA engineers, but also took ownership of projects in support of entire systems and processes behind digital products and services offered under the health vertical.

The scope of the projects I led would vary in size, complexity and value for both the company and end-users alike. Such projects included: migration of large scale consumer websites to a mobile friendly MVC framework, development of web applications, UI/UX development of websites and admin portals, updating products/services to meet legal compliance, designing solutions for improved security, API development, CRM integration, email automation, content management and responding to support tickets for client websites and featured web directory profiles. Through each project I gained greater insight into the potential blockers in delivering projects and at the same time gained valued skills into methodologies or technologies that could be applied in future ventures.

In addition, my day-to-day role was to also help bridge the gap between the non-technical and technical side of the business by serving as a primary point of contact for the technical operations of eDoctors and parts of Officite. I would routinely work with product managers, designers, content managers, and members of our marketing and business team to outline project scopes, evaluate project roadmaps and determine the resources required to maintain product standards that meet company expectations as well as evaluate existing systems and web services for possible improvements.

Website Administrator

A|E|C Agency | Client Websites & Marketing Campaigns

Associated brands:

My freelance work with AEC ranged from basic website maintenance to development of new Wordpress websites and templates for email campaigns.

AEC Agency is a boutique marketing firm that provides web-hosting, marketing solutions and growth strategies for primarily small to mid-size firms across multiple industries including insurance, wealth management, law, real-estate, & construction. Depending on the needs of a client, I will coordinate with CEO and marketing expert John Surge to plan and execute a project within time and resource constraints.

My professional experience and knowledge in web development were key factors I brought to AEC. Therefore, in the situations were a contractor was brought in for the purpose of web development, John would rely on my evaluation of the work being done before releasing the completed project to a client. In some cases he would also request my direct assistance with administrative tasks such as provisioning new webhosting accounts through AEC’s WHM, conduct basic website maintenance or work on projects that require a quick turn-around time.
